Product progress

What we’ve
been building.

A month-by-month record of how ClearMarket is becoming a more connected place to research the market, understand your money, and act with context.

ClearMarket became a much more complete financial workspace.

August connected research, portfolio context, personal-finance records, and carefully governed AI—then gave the entire product a calmer, more consistent design language.

01 / CLEARMARKET AI

Contextual intelligence, with controls

A new AI workspace can use privacy-safe context from stocks, screeners, portfolios, managed books, and the active page. Quick drawers bring it into the workflow, while provider setup, Pro entitlements, access controls, release probes, evaluations, exports, and financial-safety checks keep rollout governed.

02 / PERSONAL FINANCE

From statements to a usable money system

The personal-finance workspace now organizes accounts, transactions, liabilities, insurance, documents, vendors, and analytics. Gmail imports can process financial mail and statement attachments in the background, learn corrections, expose progress, support review and editing, and keep deletions recoverable through Trash.

03 / MARKET RESEARCH

Research pages rebuilt around the task

Stock research, screeners, saved screens, news, IPOs, global markets, heatmaps, discovery pages, and intraday views now share clearer hierarchy and denser decision-ready layouts. Split views let you inspect stocks, funds, documents, and publisher articles without losing your place.

04 / WORKSPACES

Dashboards that adapt to the work

Investor, fund-manager, admin, and operations workspaces received responsive layouts, stronger navigation, better notifications, refined controls, and more consistent empty, loading, and error states. Page-aware actions and explicit confirmations make assisted workflows safer.

05 / DISCOVERY

A broader view of the market

Global indices, Indian segments, heatmaps, market movers, new issues, and listed assets are easier to scan and compare. Search visibility improved across finance and stocks, while stock pages gained indexable SEO routes and richer public discovery paths.

06 / DESIGN SYSTEM

One visual language across product and marketing

The marketing site, authentication, emails, dashboards, finance tools, admin operations, and research surfaces now use the same editorial typography, soft green canvas, restrained geometry, focus states, full-width headers, and responsive navigation. Marketing pages also show real product screens.

07 / SECURITY & ACCESS

Private data stays scoped

Personal documents and Gmail connections gained tighter ownership and deletion rules. Feature-access gates, AI entitlements, trusted-device handling, shared Google OAuth repairs, and confirmed admin actions make powerful workflows available only where intended.

08 / RELIABILITY

Background work that explains itself

Imports and AI tasks now surface progress and actionable failures instead of appearing stuck. Dashboard layouts hold across densities, production deploys preserve the seed database, and Hostinger update paths are more explicit and repairable.

Research expanded beyond a single security.

July joined life exposure, goals, backups, deeper fund data, and faster side-by-side research into a more personal investor workspace.

01 / LIFE EXPOSURE

See how the whole financial life moves together

Life Exposure Radar connects income, employer equity, outside assets, property, debt, emergency savings, dependants, geography, and currency exposure. Guided inputs and simulations reveal concentration, runway, rate, rupee, job-loss, and employer-stock risks beyond the portfolio alone.

02 / GOALS

From an amount to a living plan

A guided goal builder, strategy workflow, dashboard tracker, and historical forecasts help turn future amounts into trackable plans with clearer progress and next steps.

03 / FUNDS & LISTED ASSETS

Deeper official fund intelligence

Mutual-fund pages gained richer AMFI scheme details, holdings, AUM, TER, managers, objectives, allocations, documents, peer contracts, return calculations, portfolio P/E, and resilient AMC workbook ingestion. Search expanded across ETFs, REITs, InvITs, IPOs, and NFO-like schemes.

04 / RESEARCH FLOW

Inspect without losing context

Stock and mutual-fund cards gained split detail views, while News added an in-page publisher reader and layout preferences. Screeners, discovery pages, fund comparison, stock pages, and portfolio tabs were redesigned for faster scanning.

05 / PORTFOLIOS & DASHBOARDS

A sharper personal workspace

Dashboards gained a stronger research queue, flexible density and alignment choices, better widget sizing, responsive behavior, branded asset logos, and deeper portfolio links. Feature access now follows users through navigation and portfolio sections.

06 / BACKUP & IDENTITY

Portable data and easier sign-in

Account exports, local restore, Google Drive backup and restore, Google sign-in, terms acceptance, session fixes, skeleton loading, and improved data-connectivity errors made the account layer more dependable across devices.

Company research gained memory and comparison.

June moved stock analysis beyond snapshots with historical operating context, richer fundamentals, stronger screeners, and more resilient data operations.

01 / COMPANY INTELLIGENCE

Historical financial and operating context

Company pages gained a dedicated data-analysis view, metric toggles, richer quarterly statements, historical revenue mix and operating metrics, better chart ranges, and peer comparison visuals across consolidated exchange pages.

02 / SCREENING

Richer fundamentals in the screener

The web dataset and fundamentals pipeline expanded, screen loading became clearer, and the builder could work with a broader set of financial, valuation, performance, and company-quality signals.

03 / DATA OPERATIONS

Resumable enrichment and cleaner admin controls

Stock auto-fetch became resumable and queue-driven. Market-data administration split into focused subpages with clearer coverage, source controls, and operational progress.

04 / ACCOUNT SAFETY

Stronger sessions and private storage

Cross-tab session sync, hardened auth guards, safer private data storage, admin-subdomain support, reversible sample data, and currency preferences improved the everyday account foundation.

The original screener became a market platform.

May established the shared data, account, navigation, and communication layers that the newer workspaces now build on.

01 / MARKET COVERAGE

More of India’s investable universe

Public pages and live data expanded across stocks, mutual funds, sectors, ETFs, REITs, InvITs, IPOs, commodities, indices, intraday markets, fund houses, NFOs, and comparison tools—supported by NSE, BSE, AMFI, Yahoo, and fallback data paths.

02 / CHARTS & RESEARCH

Interactive histories and mobile-first detail

Stocks and funds gained interactive charts, intraday views, 3Y/5Y/Max history extension, richer financial cards, shareholding views, return-since-inception, holdings analytics, and responsive tables that transform into useful mobile cards.

03 / PORTFOLIOS

Real holdings, prices, and recurring plans

Portfolio data moved out of local storage into user-scoped records. Live positions, expandable lots, transaction editing, asset search, watchlists, price alerts, recurring mutual-fund SIP schedules, and dashboard market-change views created a real follow-through layer.

04 / DISCOVERY & NEWS

New ways into the market

Sector browsing, 56 pre-built screening scripts, a visual script builder, expanding global search, redesigned stock and fund discovery, India market news, RSS source controls, admin-configurable sync, and a live landing-page market pulse widened the starting points.

05 / IDENTITY & COMMUNICATION

Complete account and notification flows

Email verification, optional 2FA, forgot-password recovery, trusted-device-aware login alerts, transactional email channels, support notifications, per-user in-app and email preferences, and user-scoped notification caches made the account experience safer and more personal.

06 / MOBILE & OPERATIONS

A responsive shell with dependable data

Shared headers, drawers, breadcrumbs, settings sheets, bento dashboard editing, dynamic SEO, scheduled syncs, automatic SQLite snapshots, freshness status, exports, public refresh controls, and Hostinger-safe deployment paths made ClearMarket usable and maintainable beyond the desktop.
